Externship
I participated in an Externship opportunity thorugh AT&T’s Summer Learning Academy. The 4 week course has numerous speakers each week providing us with insight in their own fields, how to improve ourselves, and allowing us to converse with them through Q&A sessions. In addition, AT&T has courses each week ranging from 10 minutes to 2 hours. My favourite speaker so far was Akash Karia who conveyed the ways to captivate an audience with your message without turning it into a boring lecture. The most important course in my opinion was the one on VUCA. The leadership qualities and skills we learned is important for self development and beneficial to a team.
