Interests & Hobbies
As a student in the business field, I feel that being globally aware and up to date on current international events is something that is always beneficial. Throughout my life I have had the opportunity to visit to a handful of different countries, leading to a strong interest in travel. I think there is always things to learn by observing and experiencing other cultures, not only from a business perspective, but from a general knowledge and self-improvement perspective as well. I always strive to learn from all of my experiences, especially those abroad. These experiences in countries such as England, Scotland, and Mexico, allowed me to gain some knowledge of foreign exchange rates and driving economic forces, while also teaching me self-reliance and budgeting skills. A career that incorporates travel or an international presence would be one that I would appreciate and have a passion for.
In my spare time I try to stay active and participate in various sports, whether it be an organized event, or a pick-up game with friends. Athletics are very important to me because they help to build a competitive spirit and healthy lifestyle. During my lifetime I have participated in a multitude of different sports, including kickboxing, mixed martial arts, football, and lacrosse. Lacrosse and kickboxing were the two sports I was most active in throughout high school, and became the ones I enjoy most. I played organized lacrosse for 7 years and I try to play as frequently as I can when I have spare time. I also have been kickboxing on-and-off for about 4 years, which really helped me to build discipline and focus. Athletics are an important part of my life that allowed me to build relationships
with my peers and coaches, and stay active in a positive way.
