Some of my favorite courses that I have taken here at Fox:
Data-Centric Application Development: This was the first major MIS course I took that taught me how to code. The course covered Javascript, HTML, and jQuery. I really enjoyed learning about coding and the process behind creating solutions to problems presented.
Data Analytics: Data Analytics taught me fundamentals in data translation, data visualization, and data storage. We worked with a variety of systems, such as MySQL, Rstudio, and Tableau Prep.
International Marketing: This class taught me the differences in culture among dozens of different countries and how different marketing techniques work the best for each specific country. We learned fundamental marketing topics such as Hofstede’s Dimensions of Culture.
Intermediate Italian: I have taken four semesters of Italian at Temple. I hope to be able to communicate effectively with anyone in Italy. While I may not be fluent, learning Italian instilled a desire to learn more about international culture and learn more languages!
