Finance and Accounting Industry Career Fair and Networking (Center for Student Professional Development)
I attended the Finance and Accounting Industry Career Fair and Networking hosted by the Center for Student Professional Development which took place on September 14th from 11am to 2pm on the 2nd floor of the Howard Gittis Student Center and hosted 78 employers from a variety of firms. I gained valuable information about both Finance and MIS internship opportunities at a variety of firms. Employers I took particular interest in and gained valuable connections with include: Susquehanna International Group LLP, Bloomberg, TD bank, PNC, NASDAQ, and WSFS bank. The fair was able to let me talk to recruiters and employees that gave me valuable insight into their respective firms and I was able to compile a list of internship opportunities that I would be eligible for and that are applicable to my goals as a Finance and MIS dual-major. Additionally, I was able to make a variety of connections at the fair that I hope to follow up with in the future.
