Many of the courses I have taken so far are already preparing me for a career in IT.
I have taken Information Systems in Organizations here at Temple University. The course was designed as an introduction into the Management Information Systems field. While enrolled we learned about the use of information systems in the business world through customer relationship management systems, enterprise systems, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. These systems are used in analyzing and evaluating business techniques using tools such as Google Analytics, SalesForce, swimlane diagrams, and ERD.
I have also taken Data Analytics and Data-Centric Application Development. In Data Analytics we learned how to analyze, operate, and design business databases using softwares such as MySQL and R. In Data-Centric Application Development we learned coding languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, PDO, and MySQL.
