Interests and Co-curricular Activities

I have lived in many places in my life from the Jersey Shore to New York City and I currently live in South Philadelphia and have lived in the area for about 20 years. Besides being a non-traditional Human Resource Major in the Fox School of Business, I have enjoyed many things throughout my life, mostly performing arts, such as dinner theatre work, off-off Broadway work and performing in a Christian singing ensemble as a soloist for over 13 years. I have done many performances to raise money for such organizations as the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) and various other fund raising venues. I also performed at the Longwood Gardens Holiday Show on NBC in 2003 and performed to create a Christmas CD. One of my main passions though, is education and working in higher education as I currently work for the Fox School of Business in the MBA/MS Programs Department as the Operations Manager. I would like to continue working at Temple University in my current capacity and continue to earn my degree, with the hopes of completing my master’s degree someday. I would also like to continue using my education and talents by being a positive influence in my family, my community and my second family — Temple University.
