My Interests
I have always been passionate about traveling. I was born in England and then moved to the US. This has given me many opportunities to travel to Europe and learn about different cultures around the world. I spent a month traveling around Europe with friends last summer. My favorite place I have gone to date is Salzberg, Austria. I also live an active lifestyle and enjoy being outside whenever possible. Some of my favorite activities are running, camping and hiking with friends and family.
I also enjoy giving back to the community and have done so in many different ways here at Temple. I have participated in Temple’s Hootathon, a dance marathon that raises money for children with cancer. I also volunteered at The Lenfest Center, an after school program for underprivileged children in North Philadelphia. I enjoyed my experience there so much that I became a soccer coach for a season with the program. Currently I volunteer at Broad Street Ministry, a church that opens its doors to the homeless and needy. At Broad Street we serve dishes restaurant style to the patrons and hope to give them an experience that makes them feel human and important. I love giving back to the community and being a part of Philadelphia on a larger scale.
