Academics
In 2012, I graduated from Liberty High School which is located in the Bethlehem Area School District. I was a member of the National Honors Society and Key Club as well as being president of Students Against Destructive Decisions. I was on the varsity swimming and diving team for four years at Liberty and I was on the soccer team for one year. I volunteered twice a year with Special Olympics.
I am currently a junior at Temple University. I am in the Fox School of Business and was on the Dean’s List from Fall 2012-Spring 2013. I am majoring in Risk Management and Insurance and Finance. I have taken many undergraduate business classes, some of which are: Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Financial Management, Marketing Management, Introduction to Risk Management, Business Statistics and Management Information Systems.
As stated on my Welcome Page, I am a member of Gamma Iota Sigma, Sigma Chapter. Being a member gives me a deeper understanding of my major as our guest lecturers are successful professionals in the industry. I am on the marketing team of the Math Competition committee of Gamma Iota Sigma. The Math Competition is an annual event held by the Sigma Chapter located on Temple University’s campus. The competition engages students from high schools in the tri-state area while promoting careers in Risk Management and Actuarial science. Committee members are responsible for test creation, yearlong event planning, and marketing the event to the contacted schools.
I studied abroad in the summer of 2014 at Temple University’s Rome, Italy campus. I spent the six weeks brooding my horizons by studying Art History and Urban Health.
