Director of Finance for Ascend
As the Director of Finance for Ascend, my role included managing cash flows, bank statements, budgets, and ordering necessary items for the organization’s events while communicating all of these elements to other members in the eboard. I was also in charge of creating the end of year report for Ascend where I tracked and evaluated Ascend’s growth, finances, and improvements throughout the academic year and reported it all to the college council. From this experience I not only learned more about the field of finance, but also how to work better in a team setting with people who share a common goal and interests as I did.
