LinkedIn Learning: Cybersecurity Foundations: Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
This course taught me one of the best entry points into cybersecurity, that being GRC (governance, risk, and compliance), and the different capabilities and fundamental skills that come with GRC to see if this would be a good entry point for me. I learned about the 10 different frameworks that are encompassed in the GRC field, as well as the different tools, models, and strategies that would help me to build a GRC program. Since I am interested in cybersecurity and IT risk, this course also showed me how GRC interacts with cybersecurity to make sure that this course and its contents would align with my current professional goals.
