A course that really stood out to me as a point of interest for me was Data Analytics. This course also relates directly to the career I wish to pursue in Healthcare Technology. Being able to take large datasets and reduce them down to relevant information and statistical trends has always been interesting to me. I hope to take the skills I’ve learned form this course and translate them directly into making healthcare systems more efficient and sensitive to ongoing trends within the industry.
I am currently taking a Cybersecurity course that is also extremely interesting to me. Being able to see all the aspects that go into protecting sensitive data from cybersecurity attacks is both fascinating and terrifying at the same time. Since the Healthcare Technology field deals with the extremely sensitive data of people’s personal health records, learning how this data is exploited and how to protect it is an extremely important aspect of the job.
