Association of Information Systems
Spring Semester of 2015, I decided to become more involved by joining the Association for Information Systems. Last Semester my major was Marketing and I was minoring in MIS, but I decided to switch the two once I realized how much more interest I had in technology and how much more of an opportunity I would have in the job market. I just recently applied for the Director of Corporate Relations officer position and hope to advance our Student Professional Organization with my dedication and prowess so that AIS at Temple continues to be a strong growing community.
Temple University Investment Association
Involvement in the Temple University Investment Association is more of a personal endeavor for me. After taking the introductory course to finance, Financial Management, I have realized that I could only benefit from joining an association such as TUIA. Learning about the valuation of companies through fundamental and technical analysis has shown me that understanding investments is a very important tool in the business world. I hope to use my growing knowledge of investing to increase my personal wealth as well as my knowledge of financial decision making.
