Software Development Intern
- My job function as a Software Development intern was to work as part of a development team and help build internal data management software for the company.
- During the internship, my team and I had successfully developed a data management portal, which utilized a Google Drive API and allowed the organization to access and organize their data more easily. My specific accomplishments on the project included building an upload function, developing a file search, and designing the home page.
- I learned to take the skills I developed from courses such as MIS 2402, MIS 3506, & MIS 3502 and utilize them in a practical working environment. While working on the project, I was able to apply what I had already learned from JavaScript, HTML, CSS, & jQuery and also learn new software, such as Java and React, in order to achieve successful development of the portal.
