I am currently learning about how financial information is recorded and reported in order to become familiarized with understanding financial reports, a crucial skill for success in business.
STAT 2103 – Statistical Business Analytics (Fall 2019)
In this course, I am learning about the necessary concepts and tools for statistics and business analytics in organizations, such as basic descriptive statistics, probability, and statistical inference. Additionally, I am familiarizing myself more with Microsoft Excel and utilizing it for data analysis and inference.
HRM 1101 – Leadership & Organizational Management (Spring 2019)
Through this course, I was able to learn about the basics of management, the principles of communication/organizational development, and the dynamic relationship between the organization and its environment. Other topics included current management challenges/opportunities and basic HR issues surrounding attracting, motivating, and retaining employees.
