Mentorship Program
Through the AIS mentorship program, I learned how to get involved outside of the classroom in order to network and make professional connections with my peers. My mentor guided me through my classes, helped me edit my resume, and even assisted me in applying to internships for summer 2021! Having a student mentor this semester was a great way for me to meet someone new in the MIS department especially during such a time where meeting people is very difficult. My mentor gave me great advice on how to “survive” the rest of my college classes as a Temple University student. She also advised me on what I should be looking for or doing in the professional world to get ahead. I had a great time participating in the mentorship program this fall 2020 semester.
