My Majors & Minors
I major in Actuarial Science and minor in Statistics and Finance. I do really enjoy the process of learning them.
Actuarial science is the discipline that applies mathematical and statistical methods to assess risk in insurance, finance and other industries and professions.
Statistics is the study of the collection, organization, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data. It deals with all aspects of data including the planning of data collection in terms of the design of surveys and experiments.
Finance is a field closely related to accounting that deals with the allocation of assets and liabilities over time under conditions of certainty and uncertainty.
