Attending the event taught me some important things about finding my way in the working world. I learned that going to career fairs is a great way to meet people and find internship opportunities. It’s crucial to research companies beforehand to make sure they match what I’m looking for in terms of values and work-life balance. I’ve also realized it’s essential to pursue career paths that align with my interests from college. Plus, it’s valuable to join companies that care about their employees’ growth. While job hunting can be tough, especially when you’re not getting many responses or need to tweak your resume, I’ve learned to stay proactive by staying in touch with hiring managers and explaining my experiences clearly. I’ve also seen the importance of improving my soft skills and building relationships with people in my field.
