Volunteer for InLiquid
I volunteered with InLiquid over the course of several days. Since 1999, InLiquid has served as a unique resource for artists and the community, through online, in person exhibitions, and events throughout Philadelphia. InLiquid shares new work by great artists through a robust exhibition program, featuring over 40 exhibitions annually. I assisted with promoting the rescheduled, Saturday, October 7th date for our affordable art fair, Art for the Cash Poor. It was the impact of he Canadian wildfire smoke that affected the original date of Saturday, June 10th. As part of the Communications team, I distributed marketing materials in the surrounding South Kensington community. I hung informative door hangers on the door knobs of private homes and small, 2-3 unit rental properties, and dispersed vent postcards in various locations in the days leading up to the event. For three days on October 4th, 5th, and 6th, I worked a combined total of 9 hours.
