MIST Team Captain
I competed and led a team in a Business Venture, Vocal Competitions, and Math Olympics. As a team leader, I ensured the team was registered and ready for tournaments. I gained valuable experience by motivating my team members to achieve a common goal. I gained confidence, enhanced my morale, and have adopted an optimistic mindset through this experience.
Student Leader
As a student leader, I led freshmen in a musical piece to enhance their musical potential. I listened to ways they wanted to perform their rhythmic techniques and ultimately showcase their musical capabilities to their audience. In this role, I refined my leadership skills and became an active listener through this experience. I built new relationships in this role by building a sense of community, in essence, to bring out the musicality within them. Foremost, performing on stage was extremely rewarding as we united to showcase our individuality and musicality.
