Sustainable UX Design
This LinkedIn learning explained that sustainable UX is the designing of digital products and interfaces in a way that minimizes their negative impact on the environment. The three types of sustainable UX are environmental, social, and economic. To practice sustainable UX you need to optimize loading time by compressing images and/or videos, have a clear content structure, consistent design systems, and apply responsive design. Sustainable UX isn’t just about the sustainability of the design. It also incorporates the users and their behavior. Successful sustainable UX educates users and forms habits that lead to users practicing sustainability with their products.
