Working in Computing and IT
I learned a lot from the Working in Computing and IT webinar from National Careers Service West Midlands. Like how women only make up 19% of the digital tech workforce. Also that the most in demand software skill is SQL and certification is Cisco Certified Network Associate. Learning that SQL has more demand than Java was surpassing to me. Most importantly I learned the difference between web designers and web developers. As someone who wants to go into web design/development I liked hearing from someone with experience explain the difference between the two and how they overlap. Despite the data being for England I still feel like I learned a lot about what is in demand within this industry.
