Business Seminar Teaching Assistant
I became a Teaching Assistant Fall 2024 to now Spring 2025. Business Seminar is a 7 week course for Freshman to help them adjust to the Fox School of Business. I have been a TA for both 7A and 7B courses in both Fall and Spring semester. I took responsibility for tracking attendance and reporting any absences to the professor for a class of 30 students. I answered student questions and provided individualized attention and support when needed. I also managed classroom behavior and ensured a positive and safe learning environment. This role significantly helped me better my presentation skills because every 7 weeks I teach the class about professional development for the full hour and 20 minutes.
