Management Trainee Intern
Based in South Philadelphia, Enterprise Leasing Company of Philadelphia is part of Enterprise Mobility, a leading transportation and car rental company known for its commitment to customer service and its hands-on management training program. As a Management Trainee Intern during the Spring 2025 term, I was responsible for supporting day-to-day branch operations and delivering a high level of service to a diverse customer base. My work involved assisting with vehicle rentals and returns, processing insurance claims, and completing detailed vehicle inspections. I also guided customers through rental agreements and helped recommend additional products and services tailored to their needs.
Beyond front-line service, I had the opportunity to shadow the branch manager and leadership team. I gained insight into scheduling, performance metrics, and sales strategies that drive daily business decisions. One of my key accomplishments was improving my customer communication and upselling skills, which contributed to an increase in optional product sales during my time at the branch. This internship gave me valuable experience in business operations, team collaboration, and customer-facing strategy. It also reinforced concepts from my coursework in Management Information Systems, especially those related to operations, systems thinking, and process improvement, helping me understand how real-time service decisions connect to larger business outcomes.
