Salesforce Implementation Specialist

When I joined The W Group Financial Services in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, I started as a Salesforce Implementation Specialist with one big mission: to modernize how we manage client relationships. I began on June 3rd, and from day one, my main focus was moving all our client records from paper files into Salesforce. This project involved more than just transferring data. It meant setting up Salesforce to fit exactly what our firm needed. I spent a lot of time building automated messaging workflows to streamline client onboarding and created training materials so the team could feel comfortable with the new system.

One project I’m especially proud of was automating client communications. This change sped up onboarding, saved everyone a lot of time, and helped us keep clients more engaged and informed, which made a noticeable difference in retention. As we went along, I became the go-to person whenever someone ran into trouble, guiding the team through adjustments and keeping everything running smoothly. Data accuracy was also a huge priority for me, so I kept a close eye on organizing and updating client information as we moved online.

In many ways, this role brought my Management Information Systems studies to life. I applied what I learned in data analytics and user experience design in a way that made a real impact. I also gained hands-on experience with CRM management and process optimization, which I know will be a solid foundation as I move forward in my career.
