AIS Speaker Series Events
The speaker series events were hosted by the AIS program and really showcased the importance of after-school alumni influence. Being from Temple University and a product of the university truly shows how important and diverse this major is. There were individuals from all spheres of different types of companies all the way from chemical companies to sports teams. The MIS major itself is something that propels individuals to make decisions that will drive you toward different corporate or company settings, but always keeps you in an area that you are passionate about. The ability and capacity to have people talk about how they were able to use the major coursework to their advantage over others in their workplace, or even to get them into the position they are in. The speaker series allowed Temple alumni and even some not from Temple to speak about their experiences in the IT field and how it has changed over time.
