About Me
I was born in Dorchester, Massachusetts and lived in the same home for almost 20 years. I am the fourth of six children my parents raised there. I attended Catholic school all the way from first grade through high school. Don Bosco Technical Preparatory High School in the City of Boston is where I learned mechanical drawing and architecture and it was this formal education that laid the foundation for my desire to attend college and study engineering. After high school, I attended Temple University where I studied Environmental Engineering. I am proud to say that I left college with very little debt and was able to support myself during college by working part-time at a few different restaurants in the Philadelphia area. After Temple, I began working in the field of Non-Destructive Engineering and have been for the past 16 years.
I root for my hometown teams of Boston and try to take in as many games as possible when the opportunity presents itself. My wife Carolyn and I are raising two boys, Ethan (8yrs) and Gavin (3.5yrs) to be Boston fans, even though we live in Philadelphia. We also enjoy riding bikes, trips to the beach and Cape Cod, spending quality time with our large extended family and traveling. I am also an avid golfer having been playing now for over fifteen years.
