At New world vision centre optometry, I am working as an Optometric Assistant, where I greet and log patients upon arrival, verify their insurance coverage, and conduct pre-tests to prepare them for the optometrist. Other than that, I assist patients in selecting glasses, interpret prescriptions, and explain eye conditions in clear terms. My role involves providing excellent customer service, managing eyewear sales, and ensuring personalized recommendations to meet individual needs, combining technical expertise with strong communication and sales skills.
Working under a renowned optometrist in Philadelphia, I have gained extensive skills in patient interaction, including advanced customer service, technical expertise in pre-testing and interpreting prescriptions, and effective communication to explain complex eye conditions. Additionally, I’ve developed strong sales abilities in recommending and promoting eyewear, enhancing my ability to provide personalized solutions and build trust with patients.
