My Work

My work examines how the intersection of people and information technology (IT) creates value through three pathways – specifically, strategic decisions about IT, management of the IT professionals, and enabling individual innovation with technology.  In 2021, my team’s work appeared in MISQ Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of the AIS, Harvard Business Review, and other outlets. In 2022, my team’s work appeared in MIS Quartelry, Information Systems Research, Journal of the AIS and other outlets.

My teams actively seek collaborations with organizations interested in understanding how to better formulate IT strategy, empower software developers, and to extract more value from IT.
