Part Time Job Experiences

The William Penn Inn

Working at the William Penn Inn is an eye opening experience. After the first few weeks, I understood what it took to work in a restaurant. Being a part of the banquet department requires teamwork and leadership to consistently to meet the high standards of our guests as well as our staff. I learned how to work in an extremely fast pace environment for a long duration while still providing the same quality service from when the day began. PeopleLinx

As of Summer 2012, I have been working as a project management intern for PeopleLinx. Founded in 2009 by former LinkedIn executives, PeopleLinx™ has quickly become the recognized leader in creating Social Business solutions for major organizations worldwide. In my interning role, I was introduced to functions of all areas of the company including, marketing, sales, product development, and client relations. As I move forward in my career development, I hope to enhance my focus on customer satisfaction and product development. Click the image above to visit Peoplelinx’s company website.

Bococelli

Bococelli was a small custom printing company (mostly clothing) that I ran throughout my senior year of high school until the start of the fall semester of my Freshman year of college I was the sole proprietor of Bococelli and ran all business functions. Most of my time was spent researching business concepts and information on the production processes. Click the image above to visit the Bococelli’s company website.

Party City

Party City was my first official job. I entered as a seasonal employee during the company’s busiest time. I quickly learned as much as I could and tried to help out with everything. Over the nearly three year’s I was employed at Party City, the company and I underwent massive changes. From working for a corporate owned store that was bought out by an independent franchise owner. Watching all the store associates I started working with leave one by one. Change management became an integral part of my experience. Party City was a good start for me. I learned about the retail industry, customer service, and the roles and responsibilities of managers and employees. Click the image above to visit the Party City’s company website.
