Launch Intern
My overall job function was to explore all of EY’s service lines in a rotational internship experience and help complete different tasks within their Consulting, Tax, and Assurance practices.
I worked on a number of different client teams helping with collecting necessary documentation, updating excel spreadsheets, and cross checking records, making sure everything is up to date so EY can be prepared to audit their clients.
Overall I learned how to work in teams and be flexible with my schedule. Being able to communicate and work together to get a task done is something I have already had experience with within my MIS classes on a number of projects. Being familiar with excel and technology in general helped me to quickly adapt to the things needed of me and complete the tasks as efficiently as possible. Seeing how these companies use technology and processes to complete their tasks was the most notable thing about my internship as that is what the MIS major is mainly about.
