Student Worker

  1. Student Worker – Temple University Department of Facilities Management Energy Office. I have been working with the Energy Office since November of 2021.
  2. Audit, track, and process Temple University Utility Bills for Accounts Payable. Utilize the energy data to form clear and refined reports for managers and directors. Report energy information to the Philadelphia Office of Sustainability in order to meet federal and municipal regulations. Use EnergyCAP, a energy management system, to store Temple energy use, cost, and billing data.
  3. Utilized VBA to created functional excel spreadsheets which sort data to managers specifications. Aided the Director of Utilities & Energy Management in creating reports for third party consultants as well as in-house forecasting. Currently working with department engineers to create a webpage to track air quality data (using html, css, javascript) instead of using paper and pencil.
  4. During my work with the managers and directors in Facilities Management I have learned how interconnected all business fields and processes are. I work hand in hand with Temple engineers, accountants, and Human resource representatives. During my work on the Title V Air Quality HTML doc I have been able to practice my html, css, and javascript skills. As of recent we are still working on these webpages. My manager Kurt Bresser has helped teach me professional skills within presenting information, reports, and PowerPoint to Temple staff as well as how to communicate effectively in a business environment.
