Volunteered as assistant coach
With the pandemic baseball became much more difficult to plan and play. My job volunteering for the team was to help organize the practice and games for the team. With a spreadsheet with the schedule and personally reaching out to the players prior to the games to check availability, I then reported to the head coach with a list of the players available, and who was not available and their reason for missing the game. I also helped with field maintenance before the game and after. Overall, I was able to help the team have an organized season despite the pandemic.
