Groundskeeper/Event Coordinator
Over the summer, I volunteer at our local community JC Park. My goals over the summer are to keep everything up to standard. This includes making sure all the plants are watered, the signs welcome sign is up to date with new messages, mulch and stone are set, and that the basketball courts, tennis courts, and baseball fields are up to shape. I am also involved with helping coordinate events, specifically basketball and baseball related. This helps our local community have a place to enjoy the outdoors and get some good activity in. It also provides a great location for the children of our community together and get some time outside away from their screens. This helped me learn the importance of community and how much of an impact places like these can have on everyone.
