Cards for Kidz
The goal of the event was to create fun, cheery cards that would brighten the days of kids in hospitals suffering from chronic illnesses. The result was outstanding and lots of cards were created and sent. I learned that it is important to keep giving back and taking time out to help others. It\’s what makes life special. At first it\’s easy to write community service off as cutting into my busy schedule, but how I feel when I\’m engaged and knowing I had a positive result on someone\’s life puts it all in perspective.
