Course Work

Course work

During my time at Temple I have had the opportunity to take a wide breadth of courses. These courses included Arts of the Western world, in which I learned all about the different types of art and their development throughout time and in different cultural groups. I also have taken both Mosaics literature courses offered at Temple, in which I learned how to analyze and process the different works of literature from across time and regions. The College Algebra and Precalculus solidified foundational math principles that I can use in any context as well as making the understanding of future math intensive classes easier. In addition to these classes I have also taken Technical writing to learn how to write important workplace documents such as memos, research papers, presentation notes, and honing my resume. During that time, I also took classes on Human Ecology and culture to learn about the origins of man as well as the regional differences both physical and cultural. My Technological Horizons class taught me how to design and understand android apps using the MIT designed App inventor platform. In addition to this the class also had a heavy focus on what up and coming technologies can do to an industry, how they work, and what they can disrupt. I have also taken Microeconomics which gave me a basic understanding of economic principles which I hope to expand upon. The final completed course of my college career at this point is Temple’s introductory Spanish class which I am continuing in Spanish II as I hope to attain a level of fluency that can help me in my professional career.
