Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
The linked in learning helped my with my professional goals because I would like to get into Tech Consulting or IT Project Management, and understanding SDLC will provide me with that preliminary knowledge. The course covered different approaches to Software Development Lifecycles such as waterfall, spiral, RUP, etc. I also found it helpful that the course identified situations in which each approach would be best in. For example, I was always the under the impression that the waterfall approach was not useful, but the course mentions that it would be useful for simple systems, enhancements in ongoing maintenance, and mission critical systems.
