Associate Technology Consultant
Optistar Technology Consultants, headquartered in New York City and Boston, is a subsidiary of The Vertex Companies. They provide strategic solutions through innovative and transformative processes to companies positioned for growth. As an associate consultant, I will be a part of the core consulting team that uses the different facets of our organization (engineering, networking, cybersecurity, etc.) to coordinate and deliver solutions to our clients.
As a dual major in MIS and Finance, I discovered early on that I wanted to utilize my technical expertise gained from my MIS courses to follow my passions in the professional space. I found the courses that piqued my interest, and later provided the necessary tools for my position, were Web Service Programming, Enterprise Cybersecurity, and Cloud Architecture. From the business side of my studies, Business Communications was perhaps the most important course I have taken at Temple University.
