Enterprise Risk Management Analyst
Throughout my time at Customers Bank in their ERM department, I assisted in evaluating risk assessment models. I contributed to developing reports for senior management, providing critical insights into emerging trends and potential risk factors in the financial industry. To utilize my technology skills, I led the initiative to develop the organization’s intranet website, enabling streamlined communication for business units reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer. Lastly, I assisted in analyzing and preparing comprehensive spreadsheets comparing various banks within the 3rd District, contributing to informed decision-making processes. Overall, I learned the importance of networking. I spent some time in the IT/IS unit and learned about their security practices and what implementations are in place to protect the institution and its employees. Pen testing and fishing tests were interesting to observe as well.
