The summer of 2018 I had an internship at AmeriHealth Caritas. I was at their PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) division, PerformRx. At PerformRx I was given the task of constructing and implementing an automated system the account management team can use for reporting purposes. The directors and executives at PerformRx were very impressed with the project and the handling of it, they offered me an extension of an additional two weeks.

I gained valuable knowledge on construction of actuarial pension, profit sharing, and 401(k) plans. I was able to see how the funds are set up to comply with ERISA standards so a penalty will not appear. I was also assisting in mandated filing and organization of clientele statements.
