President Phi Mu Alpha
I have the honor of being the President of Phu Mu Alpha Sinfonia Rho Upsilon Chapter at Temple University. My first full semester as president was the spring semester of 2024 and I will continue to hold the office until the end of the Spring Semester of 2025! I communicate with the Provincial and National government of the fraternity, and I am responsible for the operation of weekly meetings and the whole chapter. During my time as President, I have cleaned my chapter and brought the chapter to new levels of organization and efficiency. We have expanded interest and reach on campus and became important members of the Provincial government. I’ve learned how to manage people and thrive within a national organization. It requires me to be organized, communicative, and available for my chapter. Additionally, I have learned how to handle conflict and unexpected situations. Being a part of a large organizations created unique situations, sometimes out of my control. Learning to adapt to those changes has helped me become a stronger leader. As someone who hopes to be a leader in the workplace, I feel that this opportunity has helped prepare me for that future.
