CRM Consultant Intern at Plus Consulting
During the Summer of 2017, I was fortunate enough to accept a position with Plus Consulting as a Consultant Intern. Plus Consulting is a firm based in Pittsburgh, PA delivering IT business solutions through various services including Customer Relationship Management, Business Intelligence, Infrastructure and Security, among others. In my role as a Consultant Intern, I worked with the Customer Relationship Management teams, specifically SugarCRM. I worked alongside Business Analysts and Project Managers to gather information about our clients’ business processes and system requirements. A large bulk of my time was spent developing against Sugar, using Javascript, PHP, and HTML, in order to deliver a product to meet our clients’ needs. Building off the things I learned in MIS 3506, I was able to learn some of the intricacies of dealing with demanding clients as a BA. I’ve also really improved my programming skills as I had not dealt with such large amounts of code before.
