IT Intern

  1. Job function – Worked alongside the Infrastructure Manager and Service Desk to assist individuals with internal and external software issues.
  2. Examples of projects – On-boarding and Off-boarding documentation, Service Level Agreement, Policies and Procedures, and Business Continuity Plan
  3. What you learned and how it relates to your major – I assigned projects that required documentations to stay up-to-date and within the parameters of the project scope. During my time in Digital Solution class, we learned the basis of what a project scope was and how to write one out. Learning the ins and outs of a project scope greatly help me out during my time at NSM Insurance Group. I learned about some of their software that they used such as Samanage which helped keep track of tickets that dealt with IT issues within the company.
