IBIT mentoring program
I participated in the IBIT program in fall 2021, I was paired with Bruce Fadem. Bruce was insightful and provided me with some valuable takeaways. One particular takeaway was how he spoke on the importance of taking on challenges even if I may not feel like I’m ready. He explained that taking on challenges will allow me to grow in my respective field. Bruce also provided me with first-hand examples of his trials and tribulations in his collegiate days, as well as corporate. Bruce is now a point of contact if I need any assistance in the future regarding my career. The IBIT program has allowed me to access and gain knowledge from someone who I would have otherwise not met.
