- I learned the importance for companies to follow the guidelines as it pertains to protecting their customers and themselves from cybersecurity risks. Not taking specific precautions can not only be a financial loss but can lead to legal litigation and serious consequences. I also learned about zero trust authentication which companies can put in place to encrypt every step of the interaction while on the companies servers.
- I am interested in possibly pursuing a post graduate degree in cyber security so this event gave me good insight as to the risks companies face and governances they have to put in place to stop them.
