Ape Tek Computers
When I first came into Ape Tek Computers, I had no expectation of working very long and only went because I had nothing to do over the summer. I went in bored and uninspired to do anything with my life. After 4 years of working there, it really developed my professional skills into what it is today. From speaking and dealing with customers to analyzing and solving problems, I learned a lot throughout my time with them. I ended up becoming a Head Technician and a Manger there; if you told me that I would get a higher position other than the one I was given during when I started, I would have never believed you.
Donut Making
While working at a very young age of 11 for my parents shop, I learned many valuable lessons throughout my time. Looking back at it now makes me appreciate what my parents went through to raise me and how hard it can be to work in a convenience store. Learning to deal with certain customers is probably the most valuable thing I got out of this because there were at times where customers would give us serious problems and I had to talk it out and find a peaceful solution. Some other things working here taught is to manage money, looking into profit and revenue at a young age, manage and keep track of inventory, and focusing on school to get a better career overall.
