Outside of school, I have three main interests. One, I enjoy reading books about self-improvement, business and Austrian economics. The books I read tend reflect what lessons I want to apply to my current everyday life, or areas which I believe would benefit me in the future. My second passion is cooking. As a college student, I realized that food in the city tend to be pricey, and it is a lot cheaper to make something delicious myself. The drawback of cooking is the amount of time wasted that could be spent on studying or doing projects for school. So on weekends, I prep meals for the upcoming week that greatly reduces the time to cook. My last interest is traveling. Growing up in a rural part of Pennsylvania, I saw the same scenery everyday til I graduated high school. Since I kept seeing the same things over and over again, I wanted to explore something new in not only the scenery, but also the culture. I firmly believe that staying in a single place will restrict a person’s mindset in ideas and creativity.
