AIS Mentorship Program
When I participated in the mentorship program in the Fall of 2018, the program provided me a one-on-one experience where I could gain insight from upperclassmen, MIS major. My mentor helped me with everything from applying for an internship to selecting my courses for my Sophomore, Spring semester. The aspect I enjoyed most about the program was that my mentor never said that I “must do this.” Instead, he provided me suggestions with the understanding that he would be supportive with any decision I made on the topic. It was an excellent opportunity to gain a mentor within my major. I would suggest the program to anyone in AIS.
