The State of IT Today and Post COVID-19 Online Panel
In this panel, the discussion was primarily driven by the topic of IT and how companies adjust their businesses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. IT challenges were discussed such as VPN, bandwidth, and hardware. Additionally, there were discussions about how companies can finance IT operations remotely and how productivity is affected. There were different panelists from all different perspectives in the business world to talk about their experiences regarding the pandemic and how IT has impacted their respective line of work. This panel directly correlates with my interests to work in the IT industry after my undergraduate time at Temple. As an aspiring IT individual, it is important to understand how this pandemic is changing our future and how to move forward with the tools and skills we have.
