Fox Transfer Student Panel
The panel provided a space for transfer students to express their concerns and create a dialogue regarding their shared experiences. As the community service chair for Naba, I hosted this panel and brung speakers with different backgrounds, such as race, gender, and student type. This allowed us to bring awareness of certain struggles as well as offer insight into on-campus resources that could be helpful to transfer students. We learned that transfer students often feel forgotten and not seen so we would like to host more panels and implement new opportunities for transfer students in the future.
