SAP National security services in Newtown Square is a subsidiary of SAP that provides secure cloud, AI, and data analytics solutions for U.S. government agencies and critical industries. The company focuses on cybersecurity, enterprise technology, and compliance with U.S. regulations to support national security and defense operations.
In my role at SAP NS2 I will manage and update asset records, ensure CMDB accuracy, and oversee the asset lifecycle, including offboarding and secure disposal. I will support process improvements, documentation, and provide backup assistance for asset and patch remediation management. Additionally, I will collaborate with IT and Security teams on vulnerability assessments, remediation, and patch management to maintain infrastructure security. My responsibilities also include tracking operational health via corporate dashboards and assisting with security configurations as needed.
I developed a strong foundation in data management, cybersecurity, and IT operations, which directly applies to my role at SAP NS2. My coursework that focused on various ways of database management and system management, as well as cybersecurity classes, will strongly help me to be prepared in my role and helped me to be qualified for this position. Specifically, classes like digital systems and managing enterprise cybersecurity really helped to lay a foundation of knowledge that I will be able to apply in my role.
